The M2 programmers have created a working NCW file straight out of inventor and delivered to a SBZ130 used at their customer. M2 is now going on to create NCW-Files for a 5axes machining center.

Developers find information for creating NC-X code out of their BOM software.

It is a pleasure to give you support for your first steps. A visit of your programmers in our facility in Germany, 72135 Dettenhausen would be the very best. We are close to the Stuttgart airport and take care for all necessary arrangements, like airport pickup and hotel reservation close to our office. A 2-day-workshop is sufficient to understand the fundamental philosophy of NC-X.

You may create software offering NC-X as an interface. In order to support developers you can download the NCW Viewer, a graphical solution to display the works in the NCW file.

Developer’s support

After an initial training at our site we give you support and analyse your export files, discuss with your programers the possibilities how to create specific operations/works and how to deal with numbering-systems, barcodes and tools.

Starter package

Developers can order a starter package including the NCW Viewer, sample DXF files, corresponding NCW files and documentations. If your programers joined a training at our site they can have a hardlock and the executables including some postprocessors to convert their own files into ISO-Code.

Attention !

Several third-party-solutions exist to convert NCW files! Some of them need fix assigned tools for each work, some do not support works with saw blades, some do not support works on non-90° sides,

The Converter NC-X.EXE:

We offer a converter called NCX.EXE which comes with available postprocessors and does the translation from NCW-Files to ISO-Code for a specific profile milling center.

NC-X helps you to satisfy your customers if you are involved in selling CNC machines.

NC-X postprocessors create highly adapted code for your control. NC-x sends low-level ISO-Code which can be easily modified and does not need a fulldressed control with all available options installed. Programming with macros seems to be easy in the beginning, but a dramatically increasing number of needed macros eliminates all benefits.

Our CNC-programs, deliverd by NC-X postprocessors are standardized. The output follows rules which can be easily understood. Regarding our concept to separate the geometrical informations from the technological ones, it is easy for your customer to increase the output with impoved knowledge and modified tooling. There is no need for you to contact or interact with the customers CAD supplier.

A customer in Italy has to produce 150.000 similar parts. Programming with 3D model and import in CAM-Systems would end up in 1 year programming time if calculating 3 minutes per part and working 3 shifts continuously. How can NC-X technology help?

Together with CAM Department and programmers from puma-system.com the parts are grouped in 150 families. For each familypart exists a 3D Model which is importes in puma-system. The model comes with  feature-data which are now merged into the 3D model. Using the puma-system the operator attaches rules, formulas and conditions to the preps to recalculate the new position of preps if cutting angle or length changes.

Puma-System exports a NCW-Template usinge intensively formulas and Variables. A small application converts the feature-data into the NCW-Templates and runs the NC-X.exe in background mode creating the ISO-Output in seconds.
